New (unread) forum posts are marked with a dot when you first go in to the forum, which is helpful. But then after opening one message, all of the dots go away.
Our forum participants have commented that it would be helpful to have the dot go away on each topic as it is accessed and the message is read, rather than all dots disappearing when one new topic is accessed. This would allow them to to be able to see which posts they have read and which they have not as they work to catch up.
Is this possible?

Right now there's not a setting to make that happen, though I'll definitely take your suggestion to the rest of the team. :) I kind of like the idea!

Thank you! This feature would be very useful to us.

My users are also requesting this feature. The use-case is: they come to the forum once a day and want to read all the new messages across several topics. Please, add some way to identify topics that have unread messages and to quickly navigate to the first unread message of the topic.

I second that request. Very important our users get a chance to read everything new since their last visit.
