What is the most comprehensive resource on cover crops that you have come across? Particularly, I'm curious about the different attributes of each cover and what they bring to the soil

Somewhat useful: https://www.cotswoldseeds.com/species-guide.asp

Whoa there is a fair amount of info there––thank you! Any charts anyone comes across are cool too. Any resources at all really.

"Managing Cover Crops Profitably", 3rd Edition, is THE book on cover crops. Download it for free on the SARE website: https://www.sare.org/Learning-Center/Books A bunch of other useful books are available on the same web page. I also get a lot of useful information from the Cover Crop Strategies website: https://www.covercropstrategies.com/ Lots of in-depth articles, podcasts, and webinars here. Finally, for a lot of data condensed into a single document, get the USDA-ARS cover crops chart, modeled on the periodic table of the elements: https://www.ars.usda.gov/plains-area/mandan-nd/ngprl/docs/cover-crop-chart/

Green Cover Seed has a lot of great resources and has a pretty cool SmartMix Calculator. They've got 2020 Soil Health Resource Guide that they will send you as many copies as you'd like for free. https://greencoverseed.com/ https://smartmix.greencoverseed.com/
