Are there any good tips for gym leader strategies? Like using the field to your advantage or such?

First thing's first: *A good Battle is always as good as its setting.* This means, in order to make a good battle, you have to make it meaningful, add dialogues, backstory, have them meet with the Gym Leader beforehand, make it look menacing, powerful, but also someone that the Players can look up to. They are meant to teach you about what it means to be a Trainer. *Up the stakes* so the Battle is more than just about winning a Badge. *Build up* Yeah, the Players know they want to fight the Gym Leader, but it can be at the moment they least expect it, maybe during the climax of the story. *Now about Strategies!* Sometimes it's not easy to think outside the box or really understand the potential of a Pokémon. You can check out Pokérole Reviews to help you understand how to build strategies or how to use some Movepools. *The system allows any Pokémon to learn any Move at Storyteller's discretion.* Since you're the Storyteller, you should use that to your advanta ge if you need to build a cool strategy. I know you were asking about specific strategies, but I'm sure this advice will be more helpful on the long run, than simply a premade tactic.

My gym leaders are all about using different battle strategies and environments to teach challengers to become better trainers. The first gym in my setting are two brothers that switch out between battles. One uses quick pokemon and evading attacks, while the other uses bulky pokemon and clashing attacks. Hopefully, this shows how effective these techniques are and help my players grow as trainers. Other gym leaders use tactics such as turning off the lights and using pokemon that can see in the dark, another has an immaculate stage that can't be damaged during the fight or else the challenger gets disqualified, another is an old veteren that uses weaker moves with devastating effects, and one is a obstacle course that puts everything the trainers have to the test. The only gym battle I have that is a straightforward fight is the dragon tamer as the last gym leader. My goal is to have each gym impart an important lesson to the party that will all culminate in Victory Road. I hope this helps you make your gym leaders!

If you don't just go to the gym to run on a treadmill or work out your abs, but do some kind of hard sport like powerlifting, bodybuilding, or just lift heavy weights, then you need high-quality equipment. I especially recommend you to check out Versa Gripps and [buy now](https://www.versagripps.com/collections/versa-gripps) because it will provide you with safety and easier and more technical performance of heavy weight exercises.
