GM Looking for Players

I'm a somewhat experienced GM for this game who has been craving to play again for some time now. Since I don't know enough people in real life to play, I figured that I would try to find games online. Since there's a lack of people talking about it here (except that one chat that I've been checking obsessively for a response,) I figured that I would advertise myself. I'm interested in trying things that are a little out of the box, as I've already tried a normal play through in a canon region. A lot of the suggested story lines in another thread have gotten me thinking all kinds of alternative scenarios, like a Western Pokemon game with ranching elements. Basically I want to try new settings, maybe even try and introduce some new mechanics to a game to change things up. Note that this doesn't mean I'm against doing things fairly standard if that's what people want. I just have an interest in mixing things up right now. I've also been dying to try the Mystery Dungeon expansion. It definitely seems more complicated, but that just makes it sound more fun to me. My mai n method for this would be Skype, though if there are other preferred means of communication I'm more than happy to try them out as long as it's something all can agree on. I prefer one on one play, just me and a trainer, but I'm willing to try with up to three other players, see what that's like. I will also warn one thing about me that isn't exactly a deal breaker for me, just something that I'm definitely going to bring up: I prefer using non-traditional starter Pokemon. Like the book says, not everyone is the neighbor of a famous Pokemon professor. I dunno if I'm going to get anything out of this, but I've got nothing to lose so here it goes. Let me know if you're interested.

I'm interested. I was planning on GMing my own campaign but due to time constrains I don't think I'll be able to, but I'm up for playing something. Does it have to be skype though? I was thinking on using something like Roll20 or Discord

I'll play, also yeah discord works best. Would we have to use voice chat?

I prefer not to use voice chat. I literally just got a Roll20 account yesterday, but it seems a bit too complicated for me, so I'd prefer to work with something simpler. And if Skype doesn't work then I can get Discord, see what that's like.

Update, I have Discord now. Haven't set anything up yet. My Discord name is the same as my account name here.

#6783 Just learned that was a thing on Discord, so that might be more helpful.

We're full unfortunately, and I don't think I can run more than one game at a time just yet. Here's hoping you find someone though. I'm sure there will be others interested in trying out the system online.
