http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/RGB-Red-Blue-Green-LED-Light-Bulb-Lamp-IR-Remote-Controller-E14-MR16-GU10-E27-3W-/161334138492 Now they are making RGB downlights, for anyone who has MR16 downlights, or the like, in their roof and doesn't want lamps lying around the house. They are only $62 for 10! I am going to buy 10 of these for myself, and 10 as a present to a mate, we will review them when they come. I expect them to be a little less bright because the 3V LED is only 140 lumens, meanwhile the usual 10V halogen is 200 lumens. Lumens isn't a great unit of measure, but the comparison is still there to make.

Hi, I was wondering - if I am just buying normal led light bulbs, how do i know if the red is the 'right' red? Is any light bulb with a red tint/shade on it going to cut it? http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0056MVZD8?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00 I have ordered these for my room... although they may not be light enough, if set to a red setting, do you think they will suffice? The remote control looks very similar if not the same as the one for the bulbs you linked. Thanks Elliot

I bought some of the downlights and freaking hell what a waste. The whole pack was bad quality, they are dim and flicker as if the electronics have something up with them. Terrible customer service, no refund nor replacements offered so far. My issue with your candles would be that they need batteries, you are going to be going through a lot of batteries or needing to charge rechargeables all the time.

Ah right I see. I'll see how it goes with the batteries but as long as the red setting is legit for this use I'll be ok with it
