Musical Themes

Hey guys! One of my favorite things about The Family Tree is listening for the themes and melodies that repeat themselves throughout the albums. I figured I'd make this thread so we could share and discuss the one's we've found. Some of my favorite that I've found so far in The Leaves occur in Midnight and Old Gemini. In Midnight you can hear Victoria/Abigail's themes in many different places, specifically those last few notes on the piano before the song fades out. But I've also noticed that the chorus of both Kin and The Moon is Down layer over the song beautifully. (I've tried singing them in tandem and it turned out super well.) Then I recently noticed in Old Gemini (around 3:40) that the guitar is playing the choral melody from the end of Severus and Stone (around 4:00). Anyone else have any connections?

Another I just found is the clapping near the end of Always gold is the same beat as the drums halfway through Rivers in The Dust. It's just faster in Always Gold

If you pay attention in "Rivers in the Dust" at around 1:10, "The Crooked Kind" melody starts up as well. Its so fascinating the way he intertwines his music.

As well as the piano from the thunder plays it drums part is the is the same melody that the voices sing from the beginning of Kin. And the strings that come in around 3:30 on Secrets

Another one to is the melody hummed on the end of Names is the same melody play on the accordion a 1 minute before Ghost Towns ends, the it's slowed down and sang 1 minute before from the mouth of an injured head ends, the once again 1 minute before nightclothes end but now blaring on strings

I also found one between the Moon is Down and Midnight. The end with the same little piano but a higher octave. Then the high pitched piano at 1:24 on The Dead Waltz plays again but much lower at the of Southern Snow, the again at about 1:30 on midnight but higher again
