Understanding the songs

Oh man, even with just the few backstories about some of the songs, I am following along down the family tree map, and I can kind of work out what is happening. The songs were pretty sad before, but more so now with backstory. Like how Stone grieved his brother his entire life, and because he was a direct descendant of Victoria, he could feel the presence of her, Abigail and Severus all his life. And don't even get me started on following along Judah and his brothers' line, that one has my favorite Radical Face songs, and makes me so sad imagining the full story behind each linked song.

Yeah, it's not a very happy story. I don't have the happiest family tree myself, so a lot of this was probably more therapy than not. But not everything ends bad! There's a couple nice ones scattered in there.

True, but personally, I feel those who've experienced the blackest darkness can experience the brightest light. There can be no story, no life, without a struggle or a fight.
