Take the NPOST test through SLCC. Work out, specifically targeting push ups, sit ups, and running 1 1/2 mile. Check out our PT standards on SLCgov.com/joinourteam as well as the PT hints on this forum. Put in your application at the link on our website and join us for the recruitment seminar on Jan 10th at 6pm. I will post more information about this seminar soon. The job of a police officer is the best job ever. Please feel free to email us with any specific questions at [email protected] We look forward to meeting you.

Yes, the State of Utah requires the passing score of 80. Since this is a state requirement, we must have your test scores submitted with your application.

We are on continuous hire right now. We have several academies a year for new hires, so I would get everything done as soon as you can.
