Yup, unfortunately it looks like Amazon has closed the back door that made this feature possible. I know -- s#cks.

I am sure has seen drastic drop off...I haven't been back since my post, and only here to see your reply. Too bad really, I was a HUGE fan.

You are probably overestimating the amount of traffic this site gets. I never promote it and don't have any plans on monetizing it (except for coffee donations, which at the moment stand at the whopping $140 lifetime grand total). It's basically a tool that I've built for my own use and decided to publish it to a publicly-accessible host in case other folks may find it useful. Running it is not free either, so if at some point I feel like it's not worth the hassle and the expense to have it open to the public I will just take it offline. So while I appreciate any feedback, I am not super worried about losing visitors (although, tbh, I have not seen much of a drop lately). Anyway -- thank you all for writing!

it was the BEST SEARCH anywhere for Amazon Add-on items. I was really getting good deals as I think Amazon gives up sorta by an algorithm to create add-on items if you search for a while but never purchase. Drill bits in packs of 12 at 3.00 per pack is about 200% lower then should be, and there would ALWAYS be only ONE on the shelf at that price. You have saved me a ton of money! So for that a tip o the hat!

I have had incredible results here without ever worrying about add-on status. My only complaints are about the interface. I'd love to write my own lite front end with GET queries that I could pre-populate with my favorite options, bookmark queries, etc. Kvetching aside, I love what you've done here!

Oh, and if you do decide to take the site down, please share your research and code!
