Hello and thank you for writing! To tell the truth, I really haven't done much testing with international sites, but I think I know what is causing the problem you are running into. I will try to fix it, but in the meantime don't choose a department in the dropdown that's near the search box, do your search and then filter using the department filter that will appear next to the search results. I think I was able to fix the issue. Give it a try and see if it works any better. You will need to refresh the page (Ctrl-F5 in most browsers) to grab a fresh copy of the code. Thanks again for reporting this.
