keep run command history without remembering all opened program's

evaluating user, i find it very annoying that I cannot remember run command history separately from opened program history, open program history keeps shifting start menu layout when enabled, when disabled it also forgets run command history which I like to keep, is there a way to split the two lists so run command history can retain without remembering open program history?

That's Windows behaviour, unfortunately it was this way for 20 years.

Thank you sir much appreciated, for some reason i recall there used to be a way to separate these two MRU's, if that's native would it be possible to add a feature that auto deletes any new entry to keep that list clean?

Set Start Menu to display 0 icons, then you won't have recent app icons
