One of my PCs shows "SIGNATURE CHECK FAILED"!

All my other systems are fine. V2.7 installed fine, but the error remains. SIB does not say have a 30 days to activate. So, I guess it will not be a problem. Should I remove and then reinstall?

You should. Ensure clock is set correctly.

Clock is/was correct. I did 2 SIB uninstall/reinstall. One leaving license/data and one removing license/data. After the 2nd round the signature error was still there. BTW, I used SIB v2.7.1. No joy. Do you have a map of registry entries that may have been left behind? I am puzzled. Thoughts?

FIXED! I rebooted and SIB went into sad face mode. Checking the about tab, the error message was still there, but the activate button was also there. I activated and the error disappeared! It's all good! At least for now.

What a difference a day makes, and a reboot. The error is back. Thoughts? [Signature_Error](//muut.com/u/startisback/s1/:startisback:7d6k:signature_error.png.jpg)

Well, check StartIsBackCfg.exe Properties -> Digital Signatures says.

Looks like we have a winner! I tried to force accept but it didn't help. Not sure how this happened. SIB was running fine for months/years. What root cert is needed? [Cert issue](//muut.com/u/startisback/s1/:startisback:2mcf:certissue.png.jpg)

Certum root CA was last updated in June 2017 if MS is correct https://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/31680.microsoft-trusted-root-certificate-program-updates.aspx
