StartAllBack is blocked by anti-cheat software

Thu, 25 Aug 2022 08:04:06 GMT

As the title suggests, StartAllBack has been blocked by anti-cheat systems for various online games, is there a way to get StartAllBack into the anti-cheat software whitelist? We all know it's a friendly software . =)

Which systems / games? How does this manifests

In Wndows 11 Battleye:pubg VAC:CSGO Easy Anti-Cheat:APEX´╝îFallguys Battleye will have a popup to indicate that startallback is blocked. After being blocked by anti-cheat software, Taskbar's icon spacing will become larger; volume control, language bar and network buttons will be disabled. The Win key, search and icons are not affected. Since I only use the Taskbar feature of StartAllBack, I am not sure how the custom start menu will be affected.

I'm not sure how Battleye can affect explorer functionality. It protects only launched process.

I don't see any issue launching pubg

Yes, now when I logged into pubg again to try to reproduce the Battleye pop-up issue, I couldn't reproduce it, I'm using version 3.5.1, which was updated just a few days ago. I can confirm that this was a problem in 3.4.X/3.3.X, which is strange. I updated to the new version and it's true that there is no blocking problem these days. I will watch this issue again. Will keep you posted if it is solved or not.

I also can't reproduce it with the EAC in VRChat.
