Maximized windows tuck behind the taskbar or overlap it when moved to secondary displays. The offset is actually still present on the primary display, even though the taskbar is absent. Google Chrome seems to tuck behind the taskbar when snapped to half screen and overlap it when snapped to full screen or maximized. File Explorer seems to always tuck behind it.
