Recommended way to add custom shortcuts/"folders"?

How to make SiB accept working shortcut icons, in "Custom folders"? It would be nice if we could also add desktop icon shortcuts in there. The "folder" format and syntax is confusing when it comes to links/settings shortcuts, instead of actual folder shortcuts. Example: I cannot add a "Windows Update" shortcut (and others) to "Custom folders...". In the past, you've recommended some solutions of the type: shell:::{xxx etc.] to enter there. I've searched around, and tried: {36eef7db-88ad-4e81-ad49-0e313f0c35f8} shell:::{36eef7db-88ad-4e81-ad49-0e313f0c35f8} "C:\Windows\explorer.exe ms-settings:windowsupdate" ms-settings:windowsupdate ...but none seems to work with SiB. The same is valid for other shortcuts/sections of W10 Settings. Thanks.

If you want to pin a folder, drag&drop it into right side. If you want to pin setting page, search for it, and select 'Pin to Start menu' in context menu

or set Settings to display as menu and pin setting from there
