StartIsBack vs Win 10 update

Routinely, after a Win 10 update, upon restart, StartIsBack (SIB) complains that it is not compliant with the Win 10 version installed. I then download and install the latest ver of SIB, but that trashes my SIB setup and I wind up having to rebuild the menu options, which is a pain. Can you tweak the install to check for previous versions and react accordingly? Can I back up files; install; restore? If so, what files? Are there other options that allow me to keep my setup?

Installing newer StartIsBack version should never trash anything. I hope you're not uninstalling it first.

No, just D/L & run latest version. My folders are still there, SIB just doesn't load the list.

'Installing newer StartIsBack version should never trash anything' OK. That's good progamming, but _something_ is trashing my configuration. I've added several custom folders, as Menu items, to the Start Menu right side configuration. The folders remain, but they are not shown in the pop-up list after the update. Where are these entries stored? If its a Reg Key, I can back it up and restore.

It seems upgrade to the latest version does wipe custom folders indeed. This is critical and will be fixed ASAP.
