O wow..my mistake...yes I completely forgot about Margerine Eclipse!!!!
I was thinking ME was Chemical Chords...I'll def have to give Margerine a listen..it's been awhile.
@sillyworm ... they also made FFS in-between those you know ;) but Margerine still holds up, been listening to it bit more recently and been appreciating it more
@jeff w - wasn't Variation One for that Moog film soundtrack? perhaps it's from the same time, but I assumed it was a one off track ... but let's hope we'll see it (along with other left-over tracks and tour singles) on SW4
Right!!! Petur...one of my favorites..as is Sound-Dust.I believe they toured that year(FFS)...I remember seeing the merch table..
I Play FFS & NOT MUSIC often...Sound Dust,Cobra, and Dots & Loops are faves...when Dots & Loops was released I remember playing it back to back for hours!I was/am in love with that release.Sound Dust is just beautiful...a real gem. With the new issues I'll be playing them in order soon...Aluminum Tunes is crazy good as well.ha ha love it all...I don't usually gravitate to Peng or Bachelor.
So, is this the end of the reissue campaign, then? I managed to get clear issues of all, didn’t even bother with the obis. Sound-Dust is the only record I didn’t previously own on vinyl, so I’m excited to get my paws on that!!
Same here...all on clear..no obi editions...the LPs packages are truly beautiful.
so apparently La Spirale was originally a part of Hillbilly Motobike, which has been restored its original full version on Margerine. and it seems the demos for ME are sadly lost and therefore not included on the reissue
Thanks for the info about the lost demos....maybe they will surface some day.
I really can't ask for more than we've already gotten from the groop (can't wait for Sound Dust and Margerine Eclipse remasters)... But it would be nice to get Space Age Bachelor Pad remastered.. It's old enough to really benefit from the remastering, I think, and the songs are worth it.
Space Age Bachelor Pad was remastered and released last year, but apparently only on vinyl
just noticed band camp has the black ants demo up rather than the baby lulu demo, don't know if its a mistake or intentional but it sounds wonderful with the layered guitars!
also the track list for the ME and SD seems perfect to me. All that matters in my book (weirdly)is the extended cuts of the songs such as Vonal Declosion being almost an extra minute long and the demos of songs. I'm strangely intrigued and fascinated by all that stuff
@mosscillation wow thanks. checking it out right now, sounds good. let's hope no one in power sees this and changes it
@petur no problem, thought it would be of interest haha
Just went to listen..it's the Baby Lulu track.
O both tracks are up.
pretty much the whole of both albums are on bleep strangely enough, although i don't want to listen as to not ruin the surprise. The quality isn't great either.
@mosscillation that must be a mistake! would be strange to have it stream there 6 weeks before the release
