I was there too. Concert just flew by. There was about a hundred or so more songs I would have liked for them to play. I was about ten feet away from Tim. Man is he fierce on guitar. Him and Andy just propel the music forward. Laetitia was great. Seemed really enthusiastic and engaged. One small complaint. The Boob Oscillator jsm was a bit over the top and loud as hell. Some of the higher pitched noises actually disoriented me. Hope they come back soon
The concert was indeed amazing. The band seemed really into it, like they were making music again. It was a step up in intensity from the Philly show, which was already both musically excellent and intense. A real pleasure.
Fluorescences is a surprise. Lucky you all for catching that one!
Fluorescences is one of my favourite lab songs (think that was the one the finally made me a fan back in the day after them being on my radar for a while). I did see them perform it twice early on this tour and didn't think it worked that well, I'm fine with the guys filling in on back vocals but Mary's parts are such a big part of this song and I wasn't quite happy how it turned out ... but perhaps it has gotten better over the course of the tour
I'll be at the Detroit show tonight..I hope they play Blue Milk!!
The show was wonderful in Detroit!!! So good to see & hear the band again.
Here's a link to a recording of the Montreal show. As with the Philly one you have to join Dime to get it. They are flac files, playable on VLC among other things. The link is: https://bit.ly/2oi0cRs . Enjoy.
I recorded the Detroit show.
An improved version of my recording of the Montreal show is now available for those who are interested. You can find it at https://bit.ly/2q4bKbK if you're interested. You have to sign up but the only danger there is all the other stuff that's available.
Sorry to ask, but how do I get the torrent file? No hotlinks on the page?
If you've signed in, then it is the underlined link that is the second line from the top of the item description, where it says "Torrent file." When you click on the link it automatically downloads the link, and then you have to go into your browser's downloads to click/activate the process.
