I'm working through a fast from TV that draws me to God instead of to useless attractions, and I'm loving it!

I wish I could say God dominated my thoughts, but my anxiety dominated many of my thoughts.

wish I could say God but I think my husbands health and things or games from other people. Finding out about a cousins death from last month wondering why no one told me.

My activities and responsibilities in Girl Guides of Canada often dominate my days. When I read the following in Chapter 12 in the book I knew the answer right away. "Specifically, what am I paying attention to first thing in the morning? And what am I paying attention to right before I go to sleep? If I want God to be my focus, I must give Him my first thoughts. And if I want my mind to be at peace when I sleep I must keep my thoughts fixed on His promises at night." I want to focus on God.

Work consumed my day. I haven't had much time to think of much else except some time to get ready for tonight after taking care of my kids. Rushing around but not much else.

Louise, I love listening to worship music before I sleep. I wake up singing. It is wonderful!

Wendye: I often listen to John Rutter's music with the Cambridge Singers as part of my Compline devotions.
