If you are looking for a Study Mum studying in your field, your course and your area then shout out here in your very own Study Buddy hook up forum. State your name, location, subject, educational institute in the relevant channel (STEM, Nursing, Psychology etc) and why you are looking for a Study Buddy? Now this list of Study Group channels is just a start. If you are in need of a different Study Group to what is listed here. Please let me know :) you can reach out to me at [email protected] or find me Suzy Phillips within our Study Mum Closed Group https://www.facebook.com/groups/1738452936431621/ Before you dive in :) Here are just a few things to consider when using this forum. Note: This forum is not yet a private space. However, we are working diligently to make it so. These rules are not meant to come off harshly or deter you. They are however, a necessity in keeping Study Mum Forums a supportive and nurturing environment. Somethings you just can't express softly. Although I try :) Forum Rules 1. No Spam / Advertising / Self-promote in the forums These for ums define spam as unsolicited advertisement for goods, services and/or other web sites, or posts with little, or completely unrelated content. Do not spam the forums with links to your site or product, or try to self-promote your website, business or forums etc. Spamming also includes sending private messages to a large number of different users. DO NOT post email addresses or phone numbers on the forum (at least until we create a private and safe space to do so. Even then sadly there are no guarantees that someone won't misuse your information. You can always find each other in the closed FB group and PM each other. 2. Do not post “offensive” posts, links or images Any material which constitutes defamation, harassment, or abuse is strictly prohibited. Material that is sexually or otherwise obscene, racist, or otherwise overly discriminatory is not permitted on these forums. This includes user pictures. Please use common sense while posting. This is a supportive space for Studying Mums. Your account will be banned permanently and your posts will be deleted. 3. Remain respectful of other members at all times All posts should be professional and courteous. You have every right to disagree with your fellow community members and explain your perspective. Please do so respectfully. 4. No Flaming - Flaming harms the supportive atmosphere that we nurture here. It also causes thread's to go off topic, and most importantly, it hurts the person being flamed. The victim may defend themselves against any accusations made to them, but may not make any additional accusations to the flamer (which also counts as flaming). Easiest way to deal with this is to alert admin. 5. No Bullying - Do not single out other members in a negative way. If you disagree with someone PLEASE Don't Comment or choose to respond respectfully. 6. No Discrimination, - You may not insult members based on their religion, race, sex, political beliefs, or sexual orientation. Study Mum is a place where everyone is equal, and discrimination can Not and will NOT be tolerated! If you break one of these rules, the following penalties will apply: Warning - Depending on how serious a violation is, you may be issued a warning first. Temporary ban - People who may just need a break from the group due to life circumstances influencing their involvement will be given some time out. This will be at admins discretion. Permanent ban - At this point, it will be with sad regret that you will be removed from the forum and possibly the closed FB Group that supports Study Mums.
