Input redirection with Windows10

Fri, 26 Jul 2019 07:38:56 GMT

Hi all, i tried to use Telosys CLI with Windows 10 and suffered: --- java -jar telosys-cli-3.0.0-013.jar < input_pipe --- It blocks keyboard input - which means it should work. Ctrl+C breaks it. --- sort < input_pipe --- works fine. Any Idea? (thank you in advance) ... mick

Even --- Get-Content .\input_pipe | java -jar telosys-cli-3.0.0-013.jar --- does not work - sorry for using Windows :-(

The ` '-i input-file'` option have just been added to Telosys-CLI in order to execute a set of telosys commands from a text file. Example : `tt -i myfile.txt` It will come with version 3.1.0 (tests in progress, availability next week) So just be patient... ;-)

Wow, something is going on :) I saw Version 3.1-002 on the homepage as ZIP ... but the code seems to be from Nov. 2018 ... ? GitHub not yet updated to -002? Is it ready already? Thanks a lot again, Mick

First: Thanks a lot for your effort. New 3.1 is working with an input file now, what is really great! Also the new table comments are a very welcome functionality. Helps a lot to tag tables for the template usage already in the database. One issue: I do not get any output redirection if I use the "-i" switch now. Is this by purpose or is there also a "-o" for output file now? I analyse the output automatically - which does not work any more now. Only a "bye..." is in there now ... Any idea what went wrong? Thanks a lot for that nice piece of code ... ;-)
