What are your thoughts regarding both baby and mother?

It sounds better if you let the women choose which indeed sounds better but it isn't better. Whoever decides to kill a human that can't even defend itself is a murderer even if there the ones taking the fetus out it should be murder. If you don't want the kid maybe you should think about no having sex.

Abortion should be illegal under the strict exception that giving birth to the baby will endanger both lives and there is a high chance of death for both mother and baby. Other than that it should not only be illegal but should be counted as murder.

I support birth control and if it doesn't work or you end up not wanting your baby then let someone adopt it because plenty of people want children and can't have them

Sophie, Abortion is a very touchy subject, but I would be glad to share my opinion with you. I believe in God, and am therefore bund by the affiliating morals. I believe that an abortion is wrong and irresponsible. If you don't want a child, be responsible and use a condem or just don't have sexual intercourse. I believe it is as simple as that. As for situations with the mother's life at risk, I strongly believe that you made a commitment to the baby when you became pregnant, and that you should follow through on it. I understand this would be hard, but it is just like a death fighting in the military. You signed up for it. Let me know what you think about this. Sincerely, Luc Henry

Hi Luc Henry, I think that women should not be held as accountable for sex or pregnancy as they stereotypically are now, because it is both the man and woman's responsibility if the woman becomes pregnant. I think that abortion should be far and few, but if possible, the woman should carry to term and allow the baby to be adopted. -Sophie

Sophie, Forgive me if I came across the wrong way, but I don't believe women should be held solely accountable for the pregnancy either. I think men should step up and take equal responsibility for the pregnancy. But I do believe that when a couple decides to have a baby, they are agreeing to the conditions of pregnancy and making a commitment to the child. Therefore, if the baby will be born with a disorder, or the mother's life is at risk, the couple should follow through with their commitment to the child. I believe the true definition of love is being able to lay your life down for another person. Who are the parents to say one of their lives matters more than the child's? A great example of this is Tim Tebo. His mother was predicted to die in childbirth. Doctors urged her to abort the baby. This was a very scary situation, but she decided to follow through on her commitment to her son. She ended up surviving the birth and her son went on to impact the lives of millions. Thank you for your reply. Sincerely, Luc Henry
