Being Christian and Conservative

I am a Christian before anything else, and what that means is that I have to love everyone no matter the terrible things they do. This leads to my question, is it best to be a libertarian, although a right leaning one, rather than a hardcore conservative because of what the Bible and what God tells us to do. How are we to love our neighbors as ourselves if we have so mu cu hatred. I am human so i still hate ISIS and i sin, and I am still very much conservative and in no way libertarian. I'm just curious what y'all think.

Good sir, I am in the same boat. I believe that Jesus loved everyone, but he also talked about a time to take up arms. I believe that if we give ISIS a chance to stop their madness and they refuse (which we have, and they have refused) then why should we wait for them to kill thousands of more people? While I hate what they do, I do not hate the people. In fact, I have a sort of compassion for them. I see how confused they are about life, and the constant hell they live in. Another point I would like to mention is that you shouldn't worry about how Conservative your views are. You are trying to put a label on your personal beliefs. Just be yourself! Have a good day! Sincerely, Luc Henry
