Possibly Bo WANTS to be convicted so he can be in jail in Wilcox County instead of Houston County. He’s probably not too comfy over there, and anyway mommy could bring him lunch.
Then again, if Bo wanted to go to jail in Wilcox County, why not just plead guilty? Is a few days in Abbeville worth a trial to him, or does he just believe he can’t be found guilty there because of his family’s connections? In any case, I don’t understand why Brad Rigby, who is the DA for the Cordele circuit (including Wilcox) is taking Bo’s case to trial now, before Ryan. Rigby is also co-counsel in Ryan’s case. He must believe trying Bo’s case first will benefit the prosecution against Ryan somehow.
I hope it's because things are so bad in HoCo prison that he'd plead not guilty just to get a few days out of there. I mean, I doubt that's the reason, but one can hope. When he had that federal hearing, I thought then that he MUST want to go to fed prison, not paying his paltry monthly fee nor doing community service. Maybe he's just so arrogant, that he thought he'd be above the fed charges and these charges, too? IDK. Somethin's up, it has to be.
Something is always up and has a bad stench when that person is involved
He plead not guilty because he's Bo. It seems like this is all just a game to him. Based on what I know about him (and if I could get one of those little memory erasing thingies from Men in Black I would use the hell out of it to rid my mind of some stuff), I really can actually see him going through with this trial just for shits and giggles. Not counting the six months he has to finish for his federal sentence, he's facing a total of 19 felony charges (3 of these will likely drop due to SOL in BHC) in 3 counties/judicial circuits. So what's a parasite like Bo got to lose? He'll get to take a little road trip, a change a scenery, to see Mama, media attention and he'll be able to avoid a jail cell a few hours a day while court is in session. Oh, and he'll be able to put his impeccable fashion sense to good use while he's court sporting a suit instead of prison garb.
I was just telling someone the other day, he is probably more concerned with how he looks on camera and which mugshots the media is choosing to headline their stories, than he is about this trial(s).
From what I can tell, he makes the best out of any bad situation he puts himself in with no regard to the potential impact it might have on others.
Do we know what time his trial will start?
Walb will also be covering Bo’s trial tomorrow. If he’s up first guess it’s whatever time court starts 830 - 900 ? Maybe locals know
I have the feeling that this is no more than a "dog and pony" show meant as a posturing procedure to get Bo on record with in court testamony to give more ammo for the prosecution of Ryan. Just my opinion but I don't think anything of significance will come up. I hope I am wrong but there won't be any MOAB. Maybe just a firecracker or two. I had a friend many years ago that worked as an assistant DA. He once told me that a prosecutor was your worst enemy unless you could help him catch bigger fish, then he was your best friend. Maybe Bo has made some fishing buddies.
Agree with this 100%. I also think proceeding with the Wilcox charges before the Ben Hill charges is strategic. Ben Hill is the shakier case due to SOL. And because the Wilcox charges are so similar to Ben Hill, it shifts any potential double jeopardy risk onto Ben Hill also.
Who will be there? His mom. His stooge, BS. If LD is there, that would be interesting. If she brings her neverending pez dispenser of personalities, they'll fill up Bo's side and spill over onto the other side.
It is worth noting, as others have pointed out, that since Bo's further legal troubles going back to November, all that trolling has stopped. Like, crickets.
@under "neverending pez dispenser of personalities" 😂😂😂😂
