Fact Round Up

I have been asked to correct some previous mis-information, so in the spirit of sticking to facts and not speculation, here goes...messages on Tara's home answering machine were NOT deleted as some of us previously had been told. They were collected as evidence by the police. Feel free to post any other FACTUAL information that may help all of us oldies remember accurately, and all of the newbies to catch up. 😊

Thank you so much for clearing that up, BJ! I think that one has floated around so long that it's been assumed by many to be factual.

Tara ate pork that night, but she usually did not eat it when preparing for pageants because she eliminated certain foods from her diet during that time. The pageant was over, so she ate pork that night. No big deal. No big mystery. It was most likely one of the only things that Mr. Davis noticed that was different because I'm sure LE asked if he noticed anything, no matter how small, and that's what he could remember. Simple as that.

Thanks bj i always assumed if heath had gone to her house on the sunday and her car was there and was getting no response he would of tried to call the home phone when her mobile didnt answer as it was switched off also its possible tara saved messages from marcus thats why i was confused when it was said that it was deleted and clear it is in no way a protocol to delete anything of an answering machine i watched a forensics doco and the investigator actually sat at the phone with a tape recorder and was recording the phone messages in case anything was vital and needed to be re examined

The version I've seen is that MH stepmom played the messages and deleted a couple, not all messages. If that were the case, police could still have collected messages but perhaps not all. Not saying this is true, but police having the messages doesn't rule out some messages being deleted before they collected the evidence.

That sounds suss to me and thats tampering with evidence and disturbing a "potential" crime scene if MH had nothing to hide why would his mom even touch it? Although there is taras emails not that at this stage i feel he had anything to do with it but there is that can of worms again *insert face palm* 😫

The messages on the machine were all from Heath and from my understanding were all accounted for.

And saying "all accounted for" does that mean all calls that weekend to the landline were from Heath? I would have thought Tara's mom would have called more than once and left a message for Tara since she was worried enough to ask Heath to check on Tara. Sorry, curiosity pulling me on a tangent.

Thanks for clearing that up. I remember hearing that and thinking it was crazy. That is why I brought it up.

I have heard a few things Georgia, but nothing definitive as of yet.

Tara's MIA all day Sunday and the only messages on her phone are from Heath? Sounds legit....

I know her mom called. Not sure which number she called or if she left messages. I assume she called both, land and cell lines.
