yes, but we can judge based on someone's answers whether it seems reasonable that they would act a certain way or not. because i assume any interview done with dykes is in the GBI casefile which we can't read .....we can't make that judgement.
plus you guys are giving the benefit of the doubt as if this were a regular person.....it's a seasoned detective, trained to notice clues that things are not exactly normal. didn't notice mysterious glove on ground, assuming it was already there. didn't examine her car, which if he did would have realized it was unlocked. plus not so ironclad alibi.
Have you been by Tara's house or been at her house while it was pitch dark black outside? There are no street lights that I recall and it was very dark. Unless he was looking for clues in her yard, which he wasn't then there's really no way he would've seen that glove. Things appeared to be normal around there I believe, other than her not answering the phone. So there was no real reason to do a full blown search and tape her house off as a crime scene at that point. It's not outbof the realms of possibility that HD figured maybe she's on a date, gone out to eat with a friend, gone to Macon for the day shopping, gone out to the lake with friends...
a detective is trained to perceive things to be suspicious that normal people wouldn't. a detective who also happens to have a personal relationship to the person he is checking on would be assumed to have a greater sense of responsibility/desire to confirm the person is OK. her mom asked heath to go and check on tara. he drove all the way from perry. it was a sunday night and it would be odd she was out so late before a school day. dykes had called her 20 odd times before that point. tara was not known for leaving for long periods of time without arranging for the welfare of her dog and cat.
It would be interesting to know what he told Connie, because apparently the family didn't know or do anything further until she didn't show up for work on Monday.
Heath was already in Ocilla all day on Sunday, it wasn't a special trip "all the way from Perry". He was not involved in her demise.
Just curious. Are you positive she didn't leave for long periods of time(12 hrs or so)? HD could've also thought very easily she had a man over there and didn't want to come to the door or answer the phone. She's showed those traits while HD was in her presence.
I don't think HD is involved at all; I'm just interested in what he told Connie.
Think they were having an affair and he left a business card to make it seem like it was strictly business related
Why are we even talking about HD? 🤦🏻♂️🤣
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Nothin else happenin. Give us a topic! 😆
I suppose we could use the fallback: talk shit about Bo. 🤪
That's too easy.
Better than talking about someone who appears to have zero to do with this crime.
bo seems like a real winner -__-
With @Slick 🤷🏻♀️
Let’s take wager on how upset Bo is that his little plan is not working! Even better... HOW MANY are upset that the whole plan didn’t go as planned! Mrs Merchant was not in the plans!
@bishere do you know Bo?
Speaking of Tara’s house...does anyone still think she was actually killed in the house? I have driven by the house and even at night...I don’t see how someone could’ve carried her body out by themself without someone noticing something. Everything is so close. If they saw the black trucks I feel like they would’ve noticed someone carrying a body.
