I'm rude because I'm asking for clarification on some things? I find you rude for belittling me. Number one I'm not on Facebook. Number two this is a discussion board. I'm asking question for clarity not to mock mental health. A tall statement from you considering you don't know a fucking thing about me and my experience with mental Heath. Troll elsewhere. Thanks
> @adangfinecupofcoffee > From everything that I’ve seen. It was a coincidence the dad showed up the same time she was there. My understanding is that she was communicating with her father. You'd probably have to talk to her though to get the full story.
Thank you @IDW for taking the time to answer my questions in a classy manner, I'm just trying to understand what's going on, and my apology if any found my thoughts offensive as that genuinely was not my intent. Mental health and addiction is a subject I am sensible to having been through my own experiences, and those of people close to me. I'm glad she is receiving the support needed. The little I have seen on Facebook was from my husbands phone so unfortunately I have been limited on her history throughout this podcast. Any info I'm not privy to is welcome.
> @MandLe > Any info I'm not privy to is welcome. This was just posted from her Facebook account: >To all concerned.. this is her brother. She is safe and did not mean to hurt or offend anyone. Thank you for your concerns .
I believe multiple friends reached out to her father. I don’t think she actually knew he was coming. The Mexican gang reference has been around for a bit @Mand . There are couple different groups around the area. One has been said to be associated with them. Warrants to my knowledge are rumor. That information wouldn’t be public at this point to verify. Supposedly it was for the vets office/property. I don’t think you can really take all 3k of her comments and get a true story or pieces of one at this point. But there is tons of info on this board and some from a while back on the unofficial group on fb. You have to look back always though on there. Lately not much of use or pertainable to much in my opinion.
Thanks @wtaf. I agree, and it's hard to seed through every comment and know what is viable and what is not. Especially when there's several things she said that I have heard from others in crestone, and with some people from crestone chiming in saying that "she isn't crazy, and knows what's up". People have stated throughout that this is a lot deeper than anyone could imagine. Having said that, just because some give validation to her accusations doesn't necessarily give them merit.
@MandLe someone knew her from before the podcast and saw the meltdown on facebook. when she started to go completely crazy today this person went to her home, called the cops and waited for her dad to show up and take her to the ER. There were multiple attempts before this one by many friends to get her to at least call a crisis line, but the cops couldn't do anything because technically she wasn't a danger to herself or anyone else. Finally she agreed to go with her dad to to the ER. Windy was one of the aliases she was using before she suddenly changed her facebook back to her real name and was even posting her own address. It seems she got too involved/obsessed in the case and gave illegal information to UAV producers she obtained from her goverment job. She was then fired and thats when the week-long facebook meltdown seemed to start.
@MandLe It's waaay too much to comb through now, but when the meltdown started I do think there were some giant nuggets of truth to her claims. As the days went by it became more incoherent and then the First Lady and President Keenan stuff started and after that I think everyone watching knew she was in some serious trouble mentally. I don't think it's some higher intelligence encrypted information. I think she got severely confused, wasn't sleeping and began to have some sort of psychotic episode. The person that showed up today and refused to leave until she was in the care of her father could possibly have saved her life. The admins are talking shit about this person in their stupid facebook forum for UAV but they don't even know the entire story.
So sad. And at the root of all that’s happened to her was a niceness girl trying to help solve this. I hope she can recover from this.
@dingusblast Thanks for sharing that.
The real story, since there are so many rumors flying around, is that her real friend from before the podcast called her Dad on Saturday to tell him she was worried about her. He came up, and tried for two days to get her help and she basically ran him off. After 4+ days of her posting extremely concerning things, a few of us in the unofficial group decided it was time to help rather than just watch. we tracked down her Dad's number, called him, and one of us went over that evening just to check on her. That person could see her walking around, therefore let her Dad know she was at least physically safe. The next day as he was on his way (4 hour drive) one of the other people went to just sit outside her house to make sure she didn't hurt herself, but she saw her and freaked out. She did not know how to react and just filmed her for safety reasons. She was in contact with her Dad the entire time. Finally he made it and they got her to a hospital. This is all extre mely private, but we all saw it unfolding so I feel it is best to squash the rumors. The most important thing is that she has help finally.
This is while 4+ wellness checks did not work because she was just sane enough to get the police to leave.
Also feel free to look into everything before wildly speculating and furthering the rumors. There is plenty of info out there. Thanks everyone.
@MandLe - An older Spanish gentleman, who has lived here in the San Luis Valley all his life, told me that the drug cartels live in Center, a town about 45 minutes from Crestone. If there is so much meth and heroin in the valley, including Crestone, where is it all coming from? It's not unreasonable to consider some of what Windyfig was saying. I noticed early on that she seemed to be really on to some compelling things and then would spiral out into more conspiracy and confusion. I think she could know what's up on some things - and be mentally ill.
Thanks Kayw66. Cartels like that don't run huge operations and get away with it for as long as they do without some form of corruption with some law enforcement/government. All I was trying to say by all of my comments is that I believe that "Windy" was trying to get this out, and yes she spiralled out of control apparently, but based on many things I have heard from other people in Crestone, a lot of things she was saying seemed to line up. I am NOT saying that this is exactly what is going on but I wouldn't be surprised if there was a lot of truth to it.
@ MandLe - If you read the book Methland, the author talks about what happens with some police officers in terms of this sort of thing. Here, of course, the police force is so understaffed they probably can't do enough about it. Also, these cartels can really get into threatening police and their families.
Anyone else having deja vu with the Mexican mafia/sur 13 stuff? They’re everywhere.
Living in California we have the complexity of the the Surenos, Nortenos, Mafia and MS 13. So its all over, everywhere and connected. Were these dudes getting drugs from mafia? That makes more sense why the circle of friends didn't want to talk about her disappearance.
@rachelhunter - Been hearing about the Sineloa cartel in the valley (but then they are everywhere.) I've been wondering about this as well. There is a 20K reward now and either someone is already talking or maybe there is the possibility that anyone who knows anything is afraid to talk. Maybe it's far-fetched, but maybe someone has a connection to cartel and just the fact they are involved in those drugs at all, has them terrified. Or she died and someone called in "the big dogs" to help get rid of her body. Or someone got paranoid of her and called someone in to get rid of her. These drugs are coming into Crestone from somewhere, so someone here must be connected.
**connected to some people that others are afraid of.
