His house was not on any sites that had any religious signifcance. Crestone is a strage place, though, and cult-like activity can be secreted away quite easily. And as well, people like the person you are asking about, are sociopathic in sadisttic ways, from what I gathered post-listening to the whole show. The Love Has Won cult finally left Crestone after displaying some pretty shady operations. (Googling them and the name of this newspaper, brings up some interesting facts about them and recent tribuloations.) I can see where Crestone would have just enough wolves in sheeps' clothhing getting off on seeing who they can control - because there are so many vulnerable and fragile people who've ended up in that area. But I don't think it's the norm. https://gurumag.com/crestone-cult-love-has-won-leaves-man-to-die-in-desert/
Awesome, thanks so much for the insight!
So, just finished reading The Love Has Won Cult info...how incredibly disturbing! I just now understand that phone call and part of the podcast. So f’d and damaging.
Check this one out. Holy crap! https://allthatsinteresting.com/love-has-won
It would have been nice if Crestone had been able to run off some meth heads and predators like these people as well.
