I am super late to the party and I’m sure there might be a comment in here somewhere about Ryan’s or Facebook messages that Payne and psychologist analyze in Season 1 Episode 17 “The Deal”. Payne may even mention this later, but many of the posts that Ryan Duke made on FB are from song lyrics. I know “The tick tock on the clock is painful; all sane and logical” is from the Eve 6 song “Inside Out”. I don’t think that changes much but he obviously is using them as a reflection of his guilt and torment….
