The mud on Tara’s tires...

OK so I know this is pretty much irrelevant now, but this is something that has literally bothered me since hearing about the mud found on Tara‘s tires. That coupled with the fact that her seat was pushed all the way back, makes it quite obvious that someone else, other than her, had driven her car last. So I watch a lot of forensic files, & on that show I’ve seen them do some crazy stuff as far as forensic goes. Not to mention, that show is pretty old so we have way more knowledge & technology now, & even back in 2005 or whenever it was that Tera first went missing. So what I am wondering, is why the mud on her tires was never tested so they could try to match it with mud from a specific area like, the pecan orchard. Now obviously I’m not a scientist, but I feel like that dirt would have specific things in it like crushed pecans for example, that they would be able to tell the type of area that it came from, like some where pecan trees grow & ultimately match it back to the orchard. And then even later when they found out that she was at the Orchard be even more su re that that’s where the mud came from. Then having that knowledge, the timeline & storyline that the state has, would prove to be wrong, But maybe with that specific knowledge they would be able to get a better timeline & a better guesstimate on what actually happened? I don’t know for real I’m just wondering why the mud was never tested.
