Hey y’all. First time posting. I was just curious what people thought about the way in which Vernon was talking about Leo. I know he heard the video recording saying he was killed but it seems strange to talk about him in the past tense. Seems like if he was hopeful that he would be found (since he’s gone missing not long before that recording), why wouldn’t he speak in the present tense? Maybe I’m thinking too deep about it. But what do you all think?

And Sam kept speaking about Ashley in past tense. He said Big Al is dead too now. 😯

I think talking about Ashley in the past tense just means that after this much time, the odds of finding her alive are pretty slim. Maybe that's how they cope.

I think given the evidence found and the police calls regarding a wounded Leo walking along the road near St Mary's with a injury to his heart, its clear that Leo is most likely no longer alive. The cabin that was discovered also showed evidence of an apparent injury and Leo's bloodied clothing were identified there.

Why would Ashley randomly ask about a cabin and how the hell to get there. Also, Tanisha knows more about Paul I think, but for one reason or another I really think she is scared.
