overpulling?

hey wes. my snach is getting better and better. ive found that from the side angle i pull straight up in the bar path but then at the top i hit my hips and this make a huge curve and the bar goes way behind my head. what do you think im doing wrong?

When you extend from the hip, it should look like you are just standing straight up. If hips are moving forward or shoulders are moving back it will cause the bar to follow. Make sure your are finishing perfectly vertical. Practice this with high hang snatch and jumping good mornings. Hope you find this helpful!
