Hi Need your advice for change many job & job stream I've install new dynamic agent for my current fta and create dynamic pool for it then want to change all job & job stream from current fta to dynamic pool problem is all theses workstations that I've install da have many job that related and include dependencies from other fta If I use application template to export all job & job stream then import by change workstation to dynamic pool do all the dependency will work as it usual ? And if this scenario work I'll have duplicate job & job stream (one on fta, one on dynamic pool) what should I do due to I just want to run only job on dynamic pool Thanks

Hi, yes with workload application template you are able to select job streams that are needed to be changed and, all jobs, resources prompts predecessors etc.. will be clustered in an autoconsistent package to be imported without violating referential integrity. During import process (it's wizard like using the DWC) you will be asked if you want to remap some workstation names (so you switch from FTA to DA) and some other not. At the end of the process you will have duplicated workload artifacts so you need to delete them or, in a simpler way, to put all selected job streams residing into the FTA in draft status and they will be ignored during plan generation. Using "composer create" command you can export the selected job streams into a flat file, put the draft keyword on each job stream definition and then with "composer replace" command you can upload the changed definitions again. A faster way, in case you are moving everything in a bounce from the FTA to the DA is to set the old FTA at ignore, everything defined on the ignored workstation will be skipped during pla n generation. It seems you are in the middle of a big migration, if you require assistance from our professional services please drop me a line at riccardo.pizzutilo@hcl.com
