The terms and conditions, which I was forced to read before I could even open the box, say that the source code is available on xcraft.io. But I can't seem to find it anywhere on the site - where is the source code available? Thanks!

If you looking for the Pixhawk flight controller source, check here: https://pixhawk.org/firmware/source_code I would be interested in the fc and radio channel settings, so I can use more channels and switch the ai to manual mode.

I'm under the impression that XCraft has modified the Pixhawk code.

might be, because between hover and forward mode they need to swap rudder and aileron channels. Well, a promise is a promise, and we shall see.

Would be nice to have. I'm swapping receivers to add head tracking as soon as I can, but I'd rather not reverse-engineer anything I don't have to

I plan to swap receiver as well, to use my Futaba TX. For additional channels I would go direct to receiver. Do you use the GoPro gimbal for head tracking?

That makes sense. I'm planning to use a sony actioncam, so I'm building my own gimbal for it.

Sony's cams have a shotgun style layout, so are a bit more aerodynamic for sustained high-speed flight - not sure if it will make much of a difference, but every little bit helps :) They also have onboard stabilization + gps + wifi, which gopro didn't when I purchased my cam.

I see. Last year I met a quadcopter flyer who had built a gimbal for the Sony. Sorry, did not archive his site. By now there seem to be some on the market.

There are a few, but none that have the 'flipped' axis configuration needed for forward flight.
